Hello all

I am now the proud owner of a Lotus Elan 1991 Turbo -frosted silver-slight problem though is that it may need a new roof frame?!!!! I know where to buy the material hoods, but could do with a steer on the frame please.

Hi and welcome! You'll find plenty of good info here among the members to help you out over time. If you're looking for help on hood frames I suggest you review the Bodywork and Top section (and maybe do a search) as well as perhaps posting in the Parts Needed section.

Welcome! Consider simply buying a rain shower cap for the car - I was just informed that it's a great alternative to putting the top up and would be infinitely easier and cheaper than repairing the top on your car. Something to chew on while you gather resources anyhow.
