Hi have just purcased nice elan se off a realy genuine guy who only sold it as he has bought a se because he visits germany and they will not alow non cat cars in main citys. I live in Haslemere surrey. Whent out in it on sunday and it felt like it was on rails going around corners Im realy looking forward to owning and looking after it I have got a mgf which I have had for about a year and that has been good fun but i know the elan will be better.

welcome......and glad to see the smile on your face has appeared straight away.....
you'll find the grin very hard to shift once youve been in the car a bit more :)

Its a1992 j reg se in calipso red done 89000 miles with full history and a lot of work done
it was the car that was revewed in piston heads in 2001 and is stil in the same condition
the only thing i may get done is the brakes upgraded as they seem a little vauge (any sugestions)

...And I have had the Hitech front brake conversion done...sooooooooooo much better. :-D

Have a word with Mr Bob Brown... I will be on to him about the rears...when I get some money to spend on 'meself' :roll:
