Hi All
Just found this forum while looking for info on Elans, what a great site and source of information.
Will have to have a good read through to find out what to look for in buying a car as i no nothing about Elans.
Nearly bought a +2 a few years ago, and regretted that i did not, was a bit of a tight fit for the kids in the back.
Am lookiong at buying a classic car, the Elan is one im looking at, any pointers to what to look for and buyers guide welcome.
Cheers Guy.

Hi
I'm in Redcar.
Saw an Elan on Ebay from H Pool, red, looked like it needed some paint work but was reflected in price, £1800 reserve not met. Is it the same one?
How much is +2 going for, prob more than i have to spend, missed a cheap one in ebay, £4601 with good paint.
Looked a good usable car.
Cheers.

I know the lad that is selling the car it needs re painting & the gearbox is showing is age but works fine. Apart from that she is a good car. He has his own garage so under the hood is in very good nick. I would say £2000 tops that will let you spend some cash on getting the body work up to scratch. If you want I am willing to have a look at any car you come across for you .
