Hi All
I have finally got my lotus through the mot first time ,and no advisories ,A big thanks to all on here who offered advice which I used quite a few times.
And spares I brought off of here.
I have driven it 50 or so miles and well impressed
The brakes were a nightmare ,but once I actually digested your post it made sense especially in respect to the rears.
Driving it today when I put my foot down the boost needle goes up to .25 or.50 and drops back down is this normal.
Finally are there any meets or groups in the Hampshire UK areas

Toby, congratulations on the mot pass the boost gauge is not a problem. Have a search about checking the earth on the transducer on the inner wing drivers side which often causes poor reading.

Hi yes the earth strap looks the reason, car was off road 11 years and noticed last night the heater light were off an when I got home they were on ,so probably settling in I will give it a few more miles (fingers crossed )

And I notice David is from I O W Now have you the light blue elan same colour as mine I saw around Northwood earlier in the year,that was the first one I have seen in ages years in fact ,spurred me on to get mine

No, mine is Collapso Red I'm afraid
Still a "light blue one" on the Island is news to me and ands to the 2 calypso, 1 white and a silk red I have seen.

The red is a good colour ,actually most colours are suited ,My favourite is the Mustard.
I looked on a dvla site and there are only 800 odd cars in the uk .
I suppose that's a reasonable percentage from the original 4k or so cars produced
