Hi - not an elan owner but car with same rear lights

Hi - I signed up a couple of weeks ago as I wanted to reply to some ads for rear lights (after a crash in my Alpine GTA)...but as an "unapproved" member I could not post.
Please can I be allowed to post ?
I do love the elan - but I think my contributions/interest here will be limited to a passing interest, and perhaps some items on rear lights and bodywork/paintwork (the two main things in common with a GTA). I know a few folk who have both Alpine and Lotus cars - some common appeal.
I think we are all hoping that Wienlot (Waynes(?)) initiative with the light covers goes ahead.

I'm sure that everyone here will welcome you. After all you also have a quirky, under-rated and interesting sportscar. I have toyed with the thought of buying one on a few occasions. Funny thing those rear lights. How did they come to be the same shape, I wonder?
