New member Switzerland - Lotus addicted ;-)

Hi, my name is Daniel and I live in Switzerland (Zurich) together with my wife. I am Lotus addicted ever since I had the chance to drive an Elise S1. I bought a mustard yellow standard S1 in 2000, another one in 2005 and then fell in love with the Exige S1 which I still own (and will keep as long as I am physically able to get in and out )

However, yesterday an Elan M100 came across and I had the possibility to have a closer look at it. What a stunning looking car with so many beautiful details Have never driven one, but will try to do soon!

I've always liked the look of the Elan M100 as well as the (no offense, in the opposite!) 'underdog' image Lotus-wise. I know so many Lotus owners saying 'bah, go away, Lotus with FWD', but when I ask them, they have never driven one. So I ask myself, how can they make up their mind about something they obviously have no knowledge about? I just love to ask them if they have ever heard about a Mini Cooper or Lancia Fulvia winning the Rally Monte Carlo

Now I'm really keen to learn lots of details about the M100 before we get serious!

I have been reading threads in this forum all evening long yesterday, and decided to register now. I'm sure we'll have spiritied discussion here

Are we mice or men? As soon as I buy one, I have to go trough that as well. The sooner I face the reality, the less it hurts
