I have recently bought my first Lotus after many years of yearning and indeed drooling over the design and engineering icon.
My Elan M100 is Limited Edition number 483, M106 CEY in Norfolk Mustard and it has accumulated a mere 44,000 miles over
its 20 year life. I would like to thank its previous owners for looking after it so well and I hope to be able to continue the careful
custody of this fine car for the foreseeable future. I have had several enjoyable runs in the sun so far but it sprang a couple of
leaks in the radiator; I have just taken delivery of a shiny new one and I am about to refit the system - thanks to the extensive
workshop manuals which accompanied the car.
I look forward to tinkering and fettling with the assistance of the experts but most of all driving it on testing roads
