A legacy from Roland Halliday (Inkitin).

Hi All,

I'm a new member, the partner of Roland Halliday's daughter Sophie.
Since his passing in 2014 the family have maintained his much loved M100 as his legacy.
I've been blessed to periodically take it out for a run for the last couple of years.
Its now time to part with the car along with many of the spares Roland amassed.

I have several boxes of spares and parts that I will photograph / catalogue.
Is it acceptable for me to post the details of which on the forum, in the hope that the parts can be sold to a good home?

Those of us who had the pleasure/honour of not just knowing Roland, but able to call him a friend will know that his Calypso Elan was one of the best maintained and looked after cars out there.

I hope that it (and the spare parts!) are able to find a good home, and appreciate your effort to offer them here.

That said, in a 'commercial world', there is nowt wrong with trying to obtain a fair market value for things, so if any requested parts are priced too high, or offers are too low, feel free to seek advice or offer them elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply. Sadly I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Roland. But I have read through the various threads on here and it doesn't surprise me to learn how well liked he was. I think the car is wonderful and I'm hoping it goes to someone who will look after it in the same manner in which Roland did.
I will be back on with a list of parts as I think he'd have got a kick out of knowing the parts went into keeping / improving more Elans.

Really appreciate the support with knowledge of fair pricing for the parts.
