hi all
thanks for including so much useful info on here - invaluable to a new owner!

i bought my elan back in April but am only now getting round to posting on here!! time flies..!

SE Turbo, Monaco white, 1991 (H), c88k miles.

Been a fun Summer, with nearly 800 miles done, and no issues as yet (except a wastegate warning light!)

done some easy servicing so far (oil, filter, brake fluid and PAS fluid) and am building a list of jobs for over-winter (replacing bonnet liner, washer jet tubing, rear top links, handbrake tightening, coolant change, rear wheel bearings, lower ball joints and possibly track rod ends...!!...)

... but all in all, been great fun for a first season.

PS - the reason i bought the car is due to a past addiction of Lotus turbo challenge 2 on the Amiga (sure i'm not the only one!), back when i was approx 10 years old..! and now i finally own the car!

ha, yes that would be me! probably dropping/collecting my son from school!

funnily enough, it was the (very relaxed) Cowbridge car show yesterday - got a lot of interest from people enjoying the retro charm of the Elan, through to others who'd owned an M100 in the past!!

I thought so, actually seen you drive through Cowbridge a number of times. I stay at The Bear hotel for work during the week so you may well see my Norfolk Mustard SE parked up from time to time. If you see a madman jump out waving it'll be me.......hope your brakes a good

aah cool, well i've def not seen a mustard yellow(!) or would certainly have spotted it!

will keep my eyes peeled in future...

brakes are fine as far as i'm aware...!!... but the MOT i'm planning on in coming weeks will test that theory..!
