Enjoyed show particularly discovering LEC -impressed by hard top shown me on red car by pleasant lady owner but cant remember where she got it ,Help anyone? also interested in new rear light clusters-very smart.I am moving to Slovenia very shortly and want to get my 92 model up to spin this winter -could do with soft top .Also surprised to see cars with remote locking. Should mine have this? if so how can I get it?
Lots of questions from an old 'new boy'

Hi John, welcome to the forum.

Hard tops: I believe these were designed by Simon Kutching. As far as I know, no new ones are currently available but, like most things, if the demand is sufficient I would think another run could be possible.

I am not too sure if remote locking was availble from new. Most modern alarms come with a remote locking facility. A previous owner of mine filled in the keyholes on the doors. It looks great, but it did mean that I needed to buy an alarm before I could lock the car :|

The hardtops were designed and built by Simon Carrier LEC Member - kuching. They are available. If you PM me I'll send you his e-mail address.

Correct me if I'm wrong....

...but I though Paul Matty's had taken over the sale of these?

You're wrong.

There - enjoyed that. :P

Technically they did for a while, but the "handmade" nature of Lotuses made the fitting of every one a bit different (apparently), so they gave up.
