Heya all,
I've just bought a pacific blue 1991 SE and loving it, even the ankle deep puddles in the foot-wells after the heavy rain this week. Stumbled across this forum when checking the support network for the car and am very impressed by the contributions on this site. Looking forward to maybe seeing some of you at donington.
Cheers
Si

You're going to be unlucky enough to see quite a few before that!
My condolences.
Good colour though!
Oh, and see WillB for a shower cape.

lol, got a shower cape from the last owner which is big enough to cover the leeking window seals. Been trawling through the forum and noticed that its a common problem. Been looking at a good looking fix. Might copy some ideas from the BMW Mini with the auto window lowering when you go to open the door. Had a Spitfire that was a mobile swimming pool, thankfully the elan is made of fiberglass so wont rot.

Hey Si, I just moved from Bristol to follow work. Grew up there south of the river.
Welcome to LEC. If you don't already know, Club Lotus do a track day just up the road at castle combe circuit in the summer and Donington is a good Lotus event (if you are into Lotus').

This thread is where we arrange to meet but usually can't agree so don't meet  :
