Hello, Noob looking to start Elan ownership...

Postby kenich » Mon 10.08.2009, 21:48

Good evening.

I have always wanted an Elan / Elise / Exige (Not necessarily in that order). After feeling rather bored of my current wkend / track car I feel its time to start elan ownership.

Iv read up about elans before, but I'm curently searching through your forums to find more useful info.

I expect il buy an Elan in the next few months, just waiting for one to pop up that takes my fancy.

Seems a fantastic site you have here, Hope I enjoy my stay!

Iv currently got a 106 rallye. Which is a mk1 with a 16v engine conversion (plus other track bits like cage etc...) Iv had 2 106 rallyes, both were track day specials. I feel I have done the Pug track car thing to death now though. To much £££ not enough driving :( I was lucky to own an Integra typeR between the Rallyes which was an awsome machine. Shame I sold up really. I was close to getting another but I think the Elan might be a better choice for me now. My Octavia Vrs is fine for normal driving but it lacks the more spirited driver in me.

I have started looking at for sale adds already - anything well maintained with the right bits replaced is what im after :D
