Hi everyone, I'm a recently joined member, and feel it's time for the first post. As so often, I guess, this goes hand-in-hand with a cry for help!

I have a 1991 SE in Steel Blue, which also (as 0f last night!) has a broken gearchange cable.

I'm trying to find contact details for Bob Brown, but the site doesn't seem to let me pm him yet, nor can I see an email address for him. It's probably just me being thick, but if anyone can give me a heads-up, or if Bob reads this by any chance, I would be very grateful.

Bob receives too much correspondance to manage by PM, so I expect his inbox is full.
You should find a link to his e-mail address beneath his avatar on each of his posts. I have clicked on it in this thread & it works for me.

Adding you location to your profile may be helpful. Who knows, there may be somebody just around the corner with an old set of SE cables they have upgraded? Not as nice as Bob's ones, but will get you up & running.
