Hi All,
Proud new owner of Elan SE turbo bought from my neighbour.
Car has full service history from Lotus approved garages, all invoices for work done, MOT's, tax discs!
Rear wishbones have been replaced.
The car has only had 2 owners- it seems the car is destined to stay in the same area as the original owner from new lives a couple of miles away.
A couple of questions, can anyone recommend a good local alarm fitter to replace the original alarm that has not been used in a long time?
Also thinking of upgrading the original front brakes, again a recommendation would be appreciated for a garage that could do the work.
Finally anyone local to me? I am near Lewes.
Thanks in advance.
Andy.

Welcome along Andy!
Thanks for the intro and well done for joining the fun.
Looks nice - can never see too many pics!
I'll let others more local to you make recommendations as to local specialists, but there are some good options out there for everything you've mentioned so far.
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...!

Neil

I can wholeheartedly recommend these people
http://www.southerncarsecurity.co.uk/They spent ages fitting a Toad i606 for not much money.
Just down the road from you, too
Good luck with the car - looks nice.
Hope you might come along to the Hen&Chicken sometime.
Regards
Jim

Hi & Welcome, Andy.
Brake upgrade options depend on your wheels because many will not fit under standard SE 15's.
Even though I have not tried the setup myself, I would seriously consider
this option, especially if you have 15's.

Another Silver Frost.
She looks really good, many brake upgrade threads on here, do a quick search. Have Wilwoods on mine and they are brilliant.

Hello, and welcome to Elan ownership. The camaraderie on this site hugely increases the ownership experience too. I hope to see you at the Grasshopper this week.
