Newbie with S2 in Norway

Hi all!
Just bought the S2 (no. 768) which have been in the family for the last 15 years or so. It's in mechanically good order, but need a little bit of tlc.

Just ordered some new headlamps, since the reflectors had gone all black. The next to sort out, is to change the light bulb for boost and fuel gauge. Seems some kind of a fiddling job, as I have read on this forum.

The biggest "problem", is that I have to remote controls and one key with remote control for the immobiliser but only one of them are working. My biggest concern, is that the last one will stop working, and then I'm stuck. Hopefully I'll find some info about that on this forum as well.

Looks lovely Permol, cant imagine there are many Elans in Norway?. Don't worry too much about the remote, at the worst case scenario of it packing in you can remove the immobiliser setup fairly easily.

Welcome, I spent 6 happy months in various parts of Norway, working for a now defunct airline called Color Air. Some of the hottest Flight Attendants i have ever had the pleasure of "working" with. I always loved Alesund in the early morning, Bergen in the afternoon and Trondheim for the quiet little bar that sold Guinness.

Changing bulbs is fiddly but not too bad, you will find that there are much worse jobs. Your Elan looks very nice and as always on LEC, don't be afraid to ask.

Thanks for welcoming me to this forum. I have already used the very helpful step-by-step instructions I found here to remove the door panels to change the speakers.
Now the summer has finally come to Norway as well, after a cold winter. The Elan are actually useful during the winter months. The hood is ok, and the heater works fine. It came useful this spring when it just suddenly started to snow one night, and my Merc were on summer tires... Luckily I hadn't changed on the Elan yet.

As far as I know, this is the only S2 in Norway, and there are only three other M100s; one green, one red and one blue.

I'm still a little bit worried about the immobiliser. As one of the pictures show, I have these keys/remotes, but only one remote is working. One of you guys said that you could remove the immobiliser. How do I do that? As I can imagine, this is a security issue, and stupid to post online, but could someone send a pm or an e-mail. There are no Lotus dealers here in Norway, so I have some difficulties to get it done in a proper garage. Thanks in advance!

Looks great in the snow Permol, would be even better to see it pictured by the Fjords. I sent you some advice regarding the Immobiliser.
