Elan arriving tomorrow! (Portsmouth)

Hi everyone, I've been a member for a while as I've always loved the M100 Elan and wanted one since i was a kid and read the amazing road tests. I grew up with Lotus pictures all over my bedroom walls, I went to the factory tour twice and even I had the privilege of driving a V8 Esprit round the Hethel test track.
Tomorrow I become the owner of H461 VRR a 1991 Elan Turbo SE, my first Lotus and I am beside myself with excitement! It needs work (spanner twiddling, I can do) and a respray (which I can't), and I'm looking forward to learning more about what goes on under the skin of these cars.
I'm buying it from a lady in Eastleigh, whose late husband was clearly a Lotus fanatic - I think had 4 of them when he sadly passed away two years ago. He had bought the car 3 years ago from the Isle of Wight, and I'm hoping I can realise his dream of returning the car to the road reasonably quickly (I'd like to make it safe and MOT'd and enjoy it for the rest of the summer before embarking on a more extensive restoration over the winter).
If anyone's interested I'll try to keep you posted on progress.

Hi Paul,

Would I have seen your car parked up in Farlington at the bottom of the hill at the A3M end of the Havant Road? If so, I went looking for it the other day to show my son what a proper sports car looks like, but we couldn't find it.
