Lotus Elan Central

Hello Guys

Here is my faded calypso Elan Turbo, basically is in mint condition, it has 7o.ooo km with books and full service history in Lotus.
Previously car were used in Switzerland, car wasn't driven long long time, closed in one of Zurych garage for last 14years.

Now m100 deserve to get long main inspetion before first drive.

Looks to be in pretty good condition cosmetically, but I personally wouldn't start the engine until I had changed the cambelt and the oil. Any fuel in the tank is going to be contaminated after that time too. Probably difficult given your location, but ideally give it a thorough check over mechanically before going far

And is that an Exige in the background?

Hello there,

Following LEC members instructions Full timing set just ordered from rockauto.com, spark plugs, oil, filters, and rest of belts also ordered from different source.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for parts I'll share with you a few pictures of hard fight with my faded M100.

Yesterday I've made first engine start since at least 14 years, now few screw to mount front clam and wheel arches and car finally will be ready to test drive.

Well Guys,

Finally I have to inform that last sunday me and my faded Calypso Red had first drive. Not very long or fast about 40km under 4000rpm.

40km it's nothing so I'm far for rating this car, but my first impression is... good
