The one and only "Bling Mobile".

Sorry guys, but I can't help it.!.
This storie is just to good to be forgotten.!.

This is the amazing storie of a UK block, who wanted to create the ultimate Elan M100. He presented him self on LEC as Game-on, and came up with all those daft ideas on how and what to do. He dreamed about a car with Lambo doors, hard top, HDI headlights behind plexi cover, air scope on the bonnet, racing engine and a color scheme never seen before.!. I think most of us was thinking that this was one of the old members trying to make a fool out of us all, as no one could dream up such guy could be for real.

Then came all these wild ideas and clams that the project was running on schedule. Sure-Sure.!!!!!.
But suddenly there was also PIC's showing the work that was going on. And to every body's amazing, this guy was for real, and he - Gerome -even turned out to be a nice guy.!.

The basic car was a white LH-drive US spec SE, and he started putting 7K pounds just into its engine. It was completely striped down, re bored, crank polished, new pistons, everything balanced out, upgraded turbo, super sports clutch and flywheel,Limited slip dif., larger injectors, and the engine cover and air intake was all gold plated. Also a 2.25"exhaust in stainless went on. This engine was intended to handle spikes of more than 300 BHP, or to deliver and run at at-least 250BHP forever on a new ECU. Haltech had one to that could go direct on with only minor modification. And all this was documented late 2004 and in the spring of 2005 on LEC. Unfortunately that tread has been lost over time. The rest of the car was a mess. Some of the old guys even did see it on Donington in 2005. He had so many other great ideas, which never saw daylight. Unfortunately he was also self employed, and lost hes contract with British rail, needed money and had to sell it on.

I bought the car late July 2005, original idea just to use the engine in my other M100. But on my 800M drive back to Denmark i found that this car was very very god, and way to good just to be used as parts. But it was in need of a new interior, and correction of 500 electrical faults. So I did change the interior, corrected all electric. I also put in the Haltech, but never had it properly mapped, so I have taken it back to the standard it had, and now running on mountain chip, but running to rich due to the larger injectors. But it anyway gives 197BHP. Unfortunately I have non of the original posts on the Game-on project, but I got all Pic's Gerome toke under the restoration of the car, which also shows the extension of the work done to the engine. More than 100pic's.!.

Chip in, and let us have the full storie.

It's now time for me to pas on this one-off special as I have to many cars, and my Silver M100 is still running fine. At the moment the car is only on LEC, as I think many old members remember the project and might be interested in buying the car. You can find it under ROW - for sale.

I posted a photo of Gerome's engine bay on your other thread Delta. It was at Donington 2005

And commented on the interior here...

You're correct Clemo.

Beer cans, old fag packets, fag stubs, Kleenex tissues, sweetie wrappers etc....

The engine bay was immaculate, but the inside !!!! I remember well Dico and Monty taking the pi$h at Donny

I think someone took a photo ?? Maybe John W ??

Rambo.
Don't forget he also had a big dog, which had lost half of it's fur inside the car. Well not all was bad, as I also did find 1,75£ in coins on the floor. :D

I seem to remember that Gerome came with a mate at Donington 2005. Both were chain smokers hence the scrunched up fag packets in the floor of the car. When I asked Gerome about the empty beer cans he said they'd had them for breakfast on the way there  He was a nice guy and had humour so I presumed he was just joking

I can also remember reading the threads on what he was going to do to his car and was gobsmacked when it all came to fruition. Like you, I also thought Game On was one of the usual LEC fruitcakes of the era ie Dico, Monty et al until I met him in person

Hi All.
Are there any of you old members who have Pic's of the Bling Mobile from Donny in 2005.?. I would be very interested in having a copy of those if possible.
Please check it for me. Will be highly appreciated.

Thanks to John W for lifting this Pic out of JimP's video from Donington 2005, showing the interior.

That actually looks tidier than the interior I remember. Maybe Gerome had chucked away the beer cans and fag stubs before JimP took the video
