The one and only Elan Bling Mobile is now in Denmark, where I will try to save the remains of this sad car. :?

No, it's not THAT bad. The engine is very very good, and worth all the money, and the golden parts can always be used as decoration in a fishtank.

What the car needs most is a clean interior, new seats and doorsides. (No beercan's found.?.) and I think there is 500 electrical faults on it. Nothing seems to work as intented. :?

The new paint is truely a flash-over, as there is paint all-over the place, so that will have to be done again, this time correct.

I knew most of these things forhand, so I'm not that disappointed. The car toke me 800 miles back to Denmark last night with out any problems at all, and even on the German autobahn it was no problems to keep-up with the Porche's and BMW's. 8)

I will keep you all postet on this thread on how things develope over time. :)

You stole my subject title!

Maybe Gerome just got fed up throwing money at this thing - sounds like it wasn't the best car to start with. But from the sounds of it the engine work was good and there are some good mechanical bits in there too. So maybe it can be finished off, would be a shame if all the money and effort put in so far was for nowt...

Good luck with it!

Geez...didn't know the thing was for sale. I had originally sent a rear strut bar to him, which after 3 months the box came back unopened. Glad I didn't try to resend it!

Good luck with your new project! We'll be glad to hear how it goes. Post plenty of pics for the before/after shots.

isn't a Bling mobile a BIG BIT flash for KOOL Denmark.

At least the steering wheel is now on the wrong side of the road, or right side..........

Did you have a good few Tuborgs and YuleBrews before purchase

Best of luck.

Is it an Excalibur?

Nope. It's a Zimmer.
"When you arrive in a Zimmer, you've really arrived!" Unfortunately, it's to a place of really bad taste.
But hey, if you're going to bling, bling properly and dip the thing in gold plate! Don't forget your leopard skin fedora and goldfish acrylic heels!

just because you own those, Jack, doesn't mean the rest of us do . . .

Actually, Gerome bought the Zimmer from me. I threw in the goldfish shoes and the fedora. When Snoop Dog saw Gerome in my former ride wearing my former threads, "Feshizle, my brother. You're one snambazzle bazillyboo dawg!" All I could do was hang my head in shame as I wore my Brooks Brothers over my Fruit of the Loom.  For a few bills, I traded in all my soul and all my rhythm.
But I can spell now!
Let me prove it: Philbo, eschew the obfuscation of calling this vehicle an Excalibur.
Say, anyone know where that picture of SuperWang is?
