Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to wrap a car?

I've often thought of doing this when I was looking at the car I wanted, but in the wrong color. I'm anxious to see pictures!

And the best part is that when it degrades, or you simply change your mind, you haven't done anything permanent.

I'm looking forward to seeing the result of this.
I won't say "good luck" as it is your skill which will make it work
but I hope it goes well.
Is it easier to wrap a metal or a "plastic" car? Presumably they disperse heat at a differnt rate!

I was considering an expensive respray but I'm now having second thought's!
Can't wait to see the results.
Can't you fill and smooth off any imperfections such as stones chips before wrapping?

That Ferrari is jaw-dropping. It proves that you can wrap complex double compound curves. I'd never have believed it possible.

If you think you can wrap mirror shells, I may well be up for some Mini-style Union Jacks! Though they'd be for my wife's car, as they're perhaps a tad lairy for an Elan.......

Or maybe this on the panel behind the front wheel arch, below the mould line?

Be interesting to see it photo-shopped up on a Pac Blue.......

I remember seeing a picture on here somewhere a couple of years ago. It may have even been somebody's avatar at the time. It was a picture of a red Elan with a semi-transparent black cat-on-skates over it. I remember it had the effect of looking like the car had a huge cat-on-skates painted on it across the entire front end, wrapping around onto the sides. I think I even commented on it at the time, that it would be a pretty cool paint job. I can't find it now. The whole wrapping thing just got me thinking about it again.
