Hi Paul,

I will as stated above post the disc info shortly.

I am waiting for permission and to check a few things.

Long story short:

- you can fit any disc with the same PCD, thats the beauty. This also means you need to pick the right disc for your application.
- the original recommended discs are slightly too small for the PNM caliper replacement kit (as it is now) I believe
- there is obviously a slightly larger disc that will fit the PNM set - cliff is testing out 2 types but I am not 100% to post up the disc type just yet

I am working to gather together all the information for fitting with OEM, Hi-Spec, PNM and anything else people have working. But its a lot of cross-checking before I can post stuff without risk of getting rubbished which I am a lot more concerned about now. So I won't post on the thread until everything is checked and verified so I don't get any mud slung at me.

I am fitting the PNM callipers to my rears. Its a question of getting a disc to match but others are doing this as we speak and I should have a definite answer to post hear.

I'd really appreciate advice on rear disc and caliper options so yes please once you're able to share all of your findings that would be great. At the moment I'm thinking PNM calipers but maybe there'll be an even better option.

Also as mentioned in my PM I think it's great that you're doing this and I don't suppose you want to resurrect the short-shift gear cable group buy also?! Thats another one I'd definitely sign-up to!

Its OK, 21 will be fine. I already paid the deposit a while back just based on an estimate of numbers, we haven't finalised the order which is being done this Friday 19th once all deposits are received.

I cannot describe how busy I am - during July/August I do a normal week's print work each day. I just wanted to write up now and say once I have finished getting all my customers' stuff onto the print press, I'll get the list updated with who has paid, the info from the manufacturers, the 2 new guys who won't be a problem, and anything else relevant.

Sandra its not a problem, thats why I am doing the deposit, but to set your mind at rest I will probably get 1-2 spare sets which you can still have at LEC price when you are sorted, and if not they will go to eBay to see if there is any demand for these longtermly, with the increase in cost going to LEC, perhaps even it could go to a fund for those d*cked over by BB if people want lots of them.

I think getting 1-2 spare sets now considering we can't really see if at any point in the future we'll get another 20 people together, is a wise move. But I obviously can't hold onto them indefinitely.

Will post up properly later on this and then updates to my car project thread, later this week! Looking forward to chilling with a beer and reading the past week's goings on here.

Everything running slower than I might wish, I will get the list checked over and updated with all monies received this weekend, have sent payment info to basher & hodge in the interim.

List is checked apart from one cheque sitting at my new unit (busy moving atm).

Will publish and chase up those who haven't paid yet, for definite tomorrow.

Raw material is now cut into billets for a total of 24 sets of hubs, and going into actual cutting next week.

So all proceeds apace.

Here's the updated list, production is fixed at 23 sets as one person is dropping out. If anybody has paid and I haven't received or noted it please advise. Please send me your shipping addresses when you can. I'll contact those who have not yet paid.

Next steps while we await the full production is to get my car on blocks ready to receive the test piece and start collating together the disc info for you all for OEM, PNM, and Hi-Spec solutions so we have it detailed for future.

Sorry I have been so slack in reporting back, this is my busiest period (printing for the Edinburgh Festival) - I'm literally falling asleep with my laptop on my knees and waking up and starting straight away again until I drop…..

Please don't worry, I will update the list properly as soon as I can. I am working 7am - 3am for the last 4, and next 2, weeks. All payments are received, I am trying to be efficient but its difficult just now. All is in process, I should have the test piece early next week.

OK, thats the craziness finished, I am just tidying up some loose ends then back to normal working hours.
