I'd be more than happy to contribute extra funds to get the item posted onto me as i'm not sure if i'll be making Donny this year
I could volunteer to try to distribute a few around the yorkshire area if there are any folks in a similar boat
Do we have any idea of when this might arrive in the good old United of K?????
now i have one, i just want to keep tinkering with it!!!!!!!
sorry mum

but would be nice to get this fitted before my man parts fall off in the car this winter, i am trying to drive it to work once a week just ti keep it ticking over and all fluids recirculated
i am also still planning to come over to yours and use your advice (and maybe tools) to do my rear bearings!!!
we'll have to wait and see what occurs over the next few weeks
mick
PS, anyone have an idea when these might hit our shores??

I could easily come to Sheffield to collect as I'm over at Hillsborough fairly regularly.

Collection at Donington or the LEC Integrated Transport Scheme (volunteers for a Controller

Don't place the order just yet - I just got mine ordered from the same place and there's a problem. We'll see how they handle this in the morning. We don't want you getting the wrong part!

I would also be interested if there are no problems, could do a postage paid jiffy bag for sending if that was ok.

The issue is they sent the wrong part even though it was LABELED correctly. The bigger issue is no phone number on their website, and now a long time and they won't reply to emails.
I'm not saying this deal is dead of course, but let me square this away with them before you order. You don't want TWENTY of the wrong part. I'll keep the thread updated. Hopefully they

respond so there IS an update.

Thanks for the update Randy. If there's anything we can do to help flush them out, just let me know.

Looks like it is part number 51.7896 or STP-R3020-64589
made by Scan-Tech and is also fitted to
Ford E-150 & E-150,
Dodge D-150 and Ramcharger and
Buick Regal - shatever they are!
I have also found a UK supplier of Scan-Tech so I have put an enquiry in to them in case it all goes tits up. Keep up the good work Randy and thanks for all the help.

Are you sold on the plastic? I'm sure the metal one is easy to come by - it's the all-plastic one that seems the smart choice.
I've attempted contact AGAIN. If they don't reply I'll have to dig up their phone number from their domain registration and start harassing them.

I'm sure plastic is the way to go - a) it won't rust and fall apart in this damp UK climate and b) it will allow more coolant to reach the heater matrix which is beneficial in this cold UK climate!

For those who absolutely cannot wait:

Strive for perfection in everything. (given time)
Take the best that exists & make it better. (given inclination)
If it doesn't exist, create it. (God did)
Ignore what I say. (good advice)

Do NOT buy from VLVWorld - seriously. First off, the won't send you the right product (the picture is all wrong, the one they have is the standard metal one). They ignore phone calls, emails, messages sent through their website, etc. I'll be filing with paypal to get my money back.
And I'm not alone - a google search found half a dozen other car forum posts (various marques) with horror stories like this. Terrible company, absolutely naught service. (How's my proper English verbiage coming along?)

I'm buoyed by the fact that this shows a different actual part than made by Scan-Tech, while still being plastic. I'm torn whether to to order this or the 100% original design, as I can get it delivered/complete for only $17.99, and for me the hoses will be shot by the time the valve is anyway!
