Group Radiator Buy for Federals?

Postby Upset99 » Thu 27.01.2011, 17:09

I have been in contact with these people and would like to see the interest in them? I have requested what the price would be for an improved radiator. For me in South Texas, it is important with 40 C summer heat. On the other hand, during the winter....we are at 16C!

I think I will also ask him for an intercooler price.

BTW, this source was obtained from another Club member. I will look for another source.

"The one I priced you is a single 1.25" tube radiator to fit in the stock mounting points. We have built many custom versions of the Elise radiator that is thicker. The stock replacement style radiator would be $553.21 for 1 plus shipping. If you buy 10 your cost will be $470.23 each plus shipping. To get the next level discount we would need 30 radiators bought and that would make your price $442.57 each plus shipping. The thicker radiators will be more money and we can talk about them as an option.

Thank You,

Bill Williamson

Alloy radiators? That would be famous. I'd go for one. It would need to be near stock thickness as spaces are tight with the AC radiator core and the fan brackets.

I could see being interested as well- been thinking of both a radiator and an uprated intercooler- like LGM's Spearco...

Top end no longer lists their uprated intercooler. I would be interested
in that quote.
Radiator is due to go at some point.

If you need to borrow an intercooler for a template, I still have my old OEM unit.
