hi
i am HAVING huge problems finding a boss kit for a normal steering wheel FOR MY SE TURBO ELAN . im just replacing my manky torn steering wheel for a sports looking steering wheel . this is ofcourse standard..
CAN SOMEONE P[LEASE TELL ME WHAT BOSS KIT I NEDD. A PART NUMBER AND MAKE WOULD BE NICE. THANKS

Rushing, think Stu's got a point. I know quite a few on here, but don't know anyone with anything else than a lotus steering wheel, be it SE or the S2 Nardi wheel, & that is because of the same problem your facing !, so don't think we can help you here ?
JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus

The Lotus Elise steering wheel will fit the Elan, as my Elan had one when I bought it. The smaller diameter of the wheel makes the steering feel heavy, so luckily, the original Elan steering wheel was included in my purchase. I changed it back and it improved the steering for the better.
If you still intend to buy a new steering wheel, try for a boss for the Elise, as it may be more readily available

Not a Lotus interior indeed. I suspect that this, like all his other parts, is a basic wheel with a snap in Lotus emblam that could BMW, Jag, or anything else he sells. I doubt it will have an adapter for the M100 steering column. Be sure to ask specifically about a kit for the M100 if anyone's planning to go this route.

That is some seriously poor Photo-shopping.
Does he realise what his target market is?
I wouldn't have thought you'd get many takers with attention to detail of that standard.

I've a feeling this isn't really being bought by a lot of Lotus owners. Perhaps the 12 year old Toyota, Honda and Isuzu crowd who thinks this is a fine example of adding a little "bling" to their interior.
P.S. as an aside, my '75 Honda Civic had one of those "sun strips" acroiss the top of the windshield that said "PORCHE" on it. I thought it was funny at the time.............
