got it all working i think ,but sayind bad echo f456 1 b5
on the right screen.is there any where to download instructions to use this,programme properly.not bringing any faults up at all??????????

Now showing fault 4800 i shouldnt be allowed to control something i dont understand.i take it this means fault code 48?

Failing me not getting the idea of this programme does anyone know of a specialist in stoke on trent staffs to take the car to or anyone in this area to tell me what it all means.

Have you loaded the drivers? If not, follow these instructions on ESM's old website.

I don't understand where you're getting error 4800 - could you elaborate?

i really dont know why i am getting fault 4800.
I have loaded the driver and it is picking up all the data
and after driving it down the road got Fault 4800

all the sensors
vss off
mat off

etc
but
map low on
wastegate overboost on
genuinely dont know what i am doing.

OK Simon, so you've got it talking - don't give up on us yet. Go back to your problem thread soon to see some more comments on the problem.

What would be useful is for you to log some data and then post it on the problem thread. Once ElanScan is communicating, press <F2> to start logging data, go for a drive until you experience the problem, then press press <F4> to stop logging and don't forget to do a File Save. What you need to do is to zip the .ecu file with WinZip and post it on your thread. The experts (Alan and John) will then be able to take a look and hopefully help diagnose the problem properly.

Stick with it - it's got to be better than paying a garage! :lol:
