:agree:

If they did fit I would expect one of us would have found this and generated a lot of excitement on here by now.

Dear John,

Thank you for visiting our web site. Windshield pillar post seals for the 1991 Élan M100 are $400.00 each, plus shipping. The left side is available, but the right side is on back order and we do not know when it will be available.

Other than the original weatherstrip, we are not aware of any other seals that would work on this car.

If you have any more questions or wish to place an order, please call us Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., pacific time at (626) 285-2255.

Sincerely,

Jan Mossbarger

might be worth asking if they do a group discount and also if an order went in would it speed up production of the right side seal??......

do they make them or do they get them from someone else?????

I bet they get them from Lotus.
No idea how they would still have a NS seal left though.

I think you're right, Dave. Another red herring on an item many of us are interested in.

Here's another stupid question. I've seen the term "near side," or abbreviation "NS" several times. I'm still learning the banter you brits use. Which side is the near side? Left or Right? I'm guessing it's the right, or driver's side.

near side is the passenger side or the left of the car in the UK (ie the side nearest the kerb/pavement)
the off side is the drivers side or the right of the car (the side furthest from the kerb/pavement)
hope that helps
cheers

I have access to three pairs of A pillar seals - all brand new.
They're £250 per set.
First come, first served.

Sy, you have PM.

Others, if I get one of these pairs, my right side seal isn't bad. My left side is aweful, being a LHD car. If a RHD car owner has a similar situation (good left side, bad right side), I'll be happy to go halves with you on a set. I HAVE A TAKER ON THIS NOW.

OK

List closed (if only temporarily).
I have 3 (two definite purchasers and a probable) takers. I may reopen for one more early next week.
