ab2cv, drasicjazz, davidjt, rip, theelanman, woody, dunnlor, techlectic :

We have shipped your packages through FexEx on 2/13/09.

I've sent you IMs individually with your tracking number and the shipping balance. Seems that Woody and few more gentlemen already received your package.

Rogerf : I need your shipping address again since the one in my LEC inbox was cleaned up from having so many IMs in my inbox.

pics of the trash can inlet from the BOV.......details od the adapter (seems most people are heading for the plumbers shop)

I'll take a look in my local DIY store next time I get a chance but until then, it can work as an atmospheric BOV (which is not to my taste).

theelanman wrote:also pics where the other pipe should go (into the plenum or transducer??) on the left side of the engine

I expect it would need to be something on the other side of the throttle plate, otherwise it would be within the valve casing. I guess that the transducer pipe would be as good as anything except that it is the wrong side of the engine bay.

I f somebody could conform, then Gareth & I will be grateful :-)

Rip/Gareth,
Cut the Transducer pipe, and insert the white plastic tee piece inc in the kit.

On mine it was cut on the left side near the boost gauge transducer. Hope this helps.

Got my pipes - thanks LotusGirlMarie and Ekapol! They look great. I've got to paint or powder coat mine before I install them, but I hope to do that this week.

The intake pipe coming off the stock air filter. Can you bye it off the shelf pre bent or do you have to bend it ?And is there going to be future group buys of these intakes ? Or I'm looking to have a go at putting them together myself. We are having trouble finding parts and using the hose company's web sites. We have never used the Net to order anything. We are looking to replace the two main pipes without BOV .Any advise on material and sizes would be appreciated. Do you think if we started a list to find out what interest there is.It might encourage the guys to have another go.Perhaps without BOVs .Or is the interest in the BOV side. Max & Andy

I'd be up for a more budget approach - don't need polished pipes, I plan on powdercoating everything down the road anyhow.

All of the pipes I used were custom formed hence no weld lines in the bends like other kits out there. They're also T6016 aluminum vs. steel. I'm sure there may be cheaper ways of doing a BOV pipe but my goal was "better" not "cheaper" hence my choice in components.

P.S. I may have one last unpolished BOV pipe & Greddy BOV sans samco hoses. I would need to check. I keep coming across the BOV in me shop.

The rubber Samco hoses that you connect to the turbo and the air filter box. Do they come in purple? Max :smt081

Dunno. Would need to check with Samco.

If you saw my full name you would wonder. My Da had a good sence of humor. He's Italian. Mother's pure blood Irish. Hence the really italian name. I associate more with the Irish side though but get my engineering and design from the Italian. What's worse? I speak French albeit poor. Going back to school to fix that though.

Nobody damns Irish heritage like Irish people - they blame everything on it! You never seem to hear people blaming their tempers on being Dutch or Swedish
