Not all of us put them away for the winter - cold I can cope with, but it can be a tad damp with the roof down in the rain!

I just don't see the point, I'd rather be damp! When I see a hard top MX5 I always think what a twat!

If you don't have a garage it would be an essential thing to have especially in the winter months.
With only the one garage my wife's MX5 appreciates the protection it gives during the winter.
If they were as cheap and readily available as MX5 hard tops (and I didn't have a garage) I'd be a twat not to buy one

Having been banished from the garage while Peter gets his gearbox reconditioned (we did tell him, didn't we Pinky?) I can better understand a hardtop now. It's sometimes been tempting to leave the hood up to dry rather than fold it down and get the battery compartment wet..... but I haven't succumb yet.

Hmmmmm,

I'm not too sure if the above posts are in jest or not, but given that there appears to have been a 'Disturbance in the (LEC Driving) Force' recently, it would be sad that an otherwise constructive forum is hindered by disagreements.
