Quite pleased if this is correct and shows an upward trend. I have recently bought an absolutely immaculate 2 owner April 95 registered NMY S2 (with unmarked piped full Raven leather) with a fLsh and a verified 24,100 miles only for £11,600 from a well known Lotus dealer. Car had a new cat fitted recently (i know its debatable if it needs one!), has a perfect original Tickford hood and is stunning in every respect. I'd previously sold my Calypso red S2 48,500 mile for 10k on here so i think i'll keep it low miles and preserve it for shows. Always thought they'd catch on eventually! I also note there is a white S2 with 59,000 miles for £11,995 for sale on ebay at a company called Speedwell.

AS's car might have been immaculate on the face of it but even with such a low mileage he still had a few niggles and problems. The biggest one was the smell of petrol - . I suggested looking at the filler pipe at the top of the petrol tank and not brimming it when he filled up but I don't think he ever bottomed it out. I think there have been a few others on LEC - mainly Fed. owners ?? who have had similar problems and I believe, from memory, that it was a Lotus recall in the States ??

AS also paid top whack for it at PaulMatty so hopefully didn't lose too much when he sold it
