Sun Visors

Postby hatters » Tue 04.06.2013, 12:18

Come on then someone on here own up.
I have been bidding on two M100 sun visors on E bay .I only want the O/S one the N/S one is OK and still on.The last bid I placed was £50.00 and some body has bid even higher than that .£50.00 is too much to pay for one sun visor. Has anyone on here got an O/S one they don't want .There's no harm in asking
I hope whoever buys them for over £50.00 thinks they have a bargain !

If John hasn't got one, let me know.

I took the drivers side visors off both of my cars to increase view out of the window due to my height, so have them in the boot of the cars. I was keeping them for any new owner to fit if required, but i suppose i could be pursueded to pass one to a good home.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

I hate deciding prices - how about i send it to you and you have a look at it and see if it's good enough for your needs. If it is, then great - I won't want a lot for it (far far less than ebay prices!)....and if it's not, then hang onto it until i can get it back (or use it for now until a better one comes along - no rental charge ;-) )

It's not a new one, but it's as good as any other 22year old bit of vinyl-covered spongy plastic is likely to be!

Do you have the 2 screws which attach it to the header rail or do you need them as well - same question for the small plastic push-on screw cover.....

....if I'd known yesterday I could have put it with the sill plates - but they went off to the couriers this morning :banghead:

Anyone want to swap a good left-side visor for one just-as-functionally-good but with the federal label sun-damaged? Car is nearly 100% but that label is well-baked. Yeah, everyone should have such big problems....but I really want to 'clean up' that label. Did anyone ever reproduce them, or is that visor still available?
Thanks,
Peter
