Philip,
In case you haven't noticed your trolling isn't working, probably because the mere fact that you feel the need to post on a Lotus Élan forum how wealthy you are is hilarious. Why not move on and BS others how wealthy you are. I have several people I call friends who are very (very) wealthy and one common denominator is that wealthy people don't talk about their wealth, it's demeaning and potentially dangerous. I hope you enjoy whatever car you have purchased, I'm sure there is a forum somewhere Just waiting for you to join, happy trails :burnout:

Yawn; unfortunately I haven't got a pot to piss in, (despite a life time of hard labour) but the Good Lord found it in his grace to provide me with an ample manhood (for the ladies), a modicum of taste (for Cars) and a smidgeon of humility (for good manners) and a sense of humour (for when I encounter crass Texans).

I am blessed :burnout:

Ok,
In the interest of fairness if Philip of South Texas is being asked to provide photographic evidence to support a claim that nobody cares about, the statement 'provide me with an ample manhood (for the ladies)' must be backed up with the same evidence :porn: personally I don't see anyone calling Philip a liar, then again I credit my success to surrounding myself with smart people, who work hard, also I have never purchased a car as an investment or because 'the chicks dig it', those are the kind of women I don't need in my life. Funny story, one of my fiends whose net worth is more than the GDP of several european countries (he has never felt the need to boast about it, but as a business partner it's nice to know) drives a 10 year old Subaru daily, and loves it!

I know, every time, I really shouldn't get drawn into these contentious threads, it must be some genetic trait whereby I can't help myself, someone reveals themselves an idiot and I just have to compete :banghead:

Nevertheless, modesty and common decency forbids that I should reveal myself thus, I do, however, provide the attached (apologies to the copyright holder) as indicative of my supreme standing in this area. I believe Texans with large wallets, immense egos & poor taste in cars would use such as this as a hat stand!

Car is at the dealer waiting for an enclosed truck to pick up and deliver it to me. So you'll have to wait a week or 2 before I can start taking my own glamour pics.

I do have scans of a bunch of sales paperwork and my bank wire statement for a rather large amount if you need proof that I bought it sooner than that ;). I don't have any finance documents because I paid cash in full. I own all my cars outright and my house. Debt is not my thing.

wasn't disbelieving.......just that those pics are awful....and Im sure dont do it justice......

I find it hard to believe that a man of your obvious wealth wouldn't have taken a few photos on your top of the range mobile phone, tablet or digital camera (all paid for, of course, and not on HP  ) when you went for a test drive and completed the paperwork.

This is a really friendly helpful forum and if you read all the new intro threads you will see that newbies are invariably always asked to post piccies of their new acquisition. Not because proof is required but because members want to see the actual car, not brochure pics which we all have access to.

There was no insinuating or disbelief on Gareth's part whatsoever and I feel a gross injustice had been done here to him.

Is one to assume that Lotus38 will now be re-invented as Lambo38 :? Still unsure why anyone would feel the need to advise a Lotus community that they have chosen to go for another make of car in the first place.

I like it!

It's yellow after all. Just needs a few Lotus roundels and centre caps imho.

Congratulations - enjoy it.

BTW one of my all time heroes was a Texan who often wore yellow.

You forgot to say "Tosspot", which is particularly relevant in this thread!
