My two penneth worth
1) Is there a leak from the inner wing to inlet manifold as this could cause overboost
2) Have you a larger exhaust? if the wastegate isn't ported can cause this and colder weather could bring it out so I understand.
3) Is a boost valve fitted ? has it been adjusted by accident allowing overboost
4) Are you sure the wastegate fully opens?

What are the engine revs when the motor cuts?
Hi boost generally = hi revs, so you may be hitting the rev limiter.

Does the engine check light flash forward few seconds immediately after it happens? and have you got any fault codes?
