Unfortunately, after a fun 18 months I'm having to sell #660.
I bought the Elan from Gazza back in October 2014 and have enjoyed every minute.
Before I put the advert out to the general market I did promise Gary that I'd try to sell on LEC first.
I'll be taking photos this weekend but in the meantime the details are as follows:
There are 18 service stamps mainly from HR Owen(3), Bell & Colvill(7) and Sinclaires(5), GST
MOT's dating back to 1998
Bill of sale from Bell & Colvill 2002
MOT till 20th July 2016
#660 Metallic Midnight Blue (Special Order Dark Blue with a purple tint)
Rare Blue Roof
Full Magnolia cream leather with Dark Blue Piping
74,450 miles with full service history and folders full of receipts for the last 13 years.
Red 4 pot AP Racing front brakes with Drilled AP Discs
PNM rear brake upgrade - handbrake works perfectly.
Nitron Fully adjustable Suspension with Eibach Springs
Hayward & Scott 2.5" Custom made S/S Exhaust
Armourfend covering the front completely
Shortshift Gearlever
Larger Upgrade Speakers all-round with an Amp & 10 Disc Interchanger in the boot
Pioneer Bluetooth head unit
Tyres have over 6mm tread all round and in excellent condition
She's ready for a great Summer.
Not sure about price but was thinking somewhere north of £10,000

Hello John,
Certainly looks like it would be a lovely car but I've found my toy since we met, it's the S2 that the guy was asking how he'd go about selling with the hard top. I drove down to Birmingham with my mate and a trailer and came back home same day.....road trip from hell, M6 was a mare!
All I've managed to do is take it off the trailer and park it in my garage before I came back to work so can't really say too much about it other than it appears to be a sound, pretty standard car with good history.
Really looking forward to getting back home to give it a good once-over and start using it, I'll give you a shout and drop past for you to cast an eye.
D.

Dave,
Great news. See you soon, I'm sure.
John
(I had suggested to Dave that he have a serious look at Gazza's old Elan)

It was one of the better cars I drove when looking for my first one - Enjoy

I was hoping to buy Gazza's S2 a few years ago but someone got to Romford before me
Nice photos of the midnight blue S2 in the link below

Apologies for no photos in this thread. I've been laid up with man flu. The car is up for sales on pistonheads with a few pictures. Hopefully get some more done when the sun shines.
Cheers
Alastair

It's definitely a great colour, looks fab. I really think the slightly darker colours suit the Elan better than lighter ones - mind you that one painted McClaren Tornado Orange (or whatever it was) was quite something !!
Black S2 No.357
Aqua Blue S2 No.385

Do you mean Stevo's one ? If so, the colour was "Irn Bru" orange
