broken fuel tank

Hello all,

I found out that my tank is broken.
I know that someone had it repaired/soldered, but I
am not clear if it is a definitive fix or rather a
temporary thing.

Btw I am in Italy.

Can someone please give an advice

If a plastic solder/weld has not worked then you can remove it and try again, but if you're removing the tank anyway then why not replace it with a new one? You'll probably feel better (but not richer!) knowing the tank is not going to fail again.

thanks, sorry, I was referring to some posts here, and
someone tried a "fix":
I suspect it only worked for maybe one or two years,
but it's unclear afaik

Personally I did nothing: I only discovered this issue.

Normally, if somebody posts they tried something and they don't say anything else about it then that means the fix/repair worked. If it doesn't work then they post to the forum again explaining their frustration!

So I think this means the plastic welding works, but personally I've not tried it.
