Call them. They have always given LEC a good deal.

yes window seals are now required as we chopped the old ones off to spray all the way up to avoid paint edge ... thinking of using the Honda ones .

Hello All,

It is Steve from Coolex (AKA eBay radiator_specialist and Nottingham Radiators) Hope you are all well. I have had a couple of requests to fit our turbo fans to the radiator but need to know the position of the radiator / cradle for the non federal, rest of the world model. Does anyone have a cradle knocking around??? I would be able to check the measurements and refurb it for the kind member as a thank you. If I read it correctly the existing fan mountings should come off leaving the main bracket OK to take the tow hook and "Y" brackets. To answer the question, we do still do the all aluminium radiator and header tank, the intercooler and the oil cooler, for the M100 but they are a very unpopular low volume item for the members and non members. We are looking to be able to supply a slim all plastic turbo fan mounted onto the radiator free of the support bracket.

Though i am not close to my car or boxes of bits , i do have the housing that you require
It will be some time till i will be close to them ( Torquay to Stafford ) but when i do i will did them out and send them your way .

Had an update on my car this morning .
Its not too far off now .

They had a bit of a mare with the wiring and one of the guys who works in the garage had a friend who worked on the M100 in the production line .
He popped down to help out with my car for a bit . He also sent some pictures of the production line to Ben at the garage ..

WHAAAAT .

Need to know more .


Was more a call for how much do you want us to put it back together as we can bring it down to you on a low loader as we are picking up a car from down this way.

Leave out carpets as need to put single cell down , door top rubber seals i will do . Then its interior clean up .


I quite like the idea of it being brought down on a trailer as i didn't really want road salt to get on the car .
However i quite like the idea of it being driven a bit , so to iron out any potential problems .

You will be rather impressed when i get the photos . Full body off sandblast and everything metal powder coated , new suspension , gearbox overhaul , body respray , breaking system replacement . Yes it has cost a fortune at about £4500 so far but it will be worth it . Longevity .

Managed to find out via lotus the build numbers , 1 of 13 , though the burn out i bought was also a special as well . So there is technically 12 left and i know the whereabouts of 4 .

As a weird point of interest this car was designated to be 615 , as the tub was marked us as 615 but must have been pushed onto the line in the wrong order and became 613.

Did you managed to find any more paperwork whilst getting the christmas tree down ? i know you mentioned there might well be some up there.

Anyway car is still up in Stafford and not coming back for a while . The yellow wheels look excellent but not on the car yet ..

i will make you a finished article christmas card for next year .

I have been compiling a crapload of Lotus history and one of the facets of my compilation is Lotus Limited and Special Editions (LimEd and SpEd for short). I was unaware of any M100 SpEd and was skeptical when I saw the title of this thread. But if there really is an M100 JIm Clark Edition I want to know about it and add it to my compilation.

Please give some additional background and specifications if you will.
