i recall someone asking about these not long ago either here or one of the many FB groups.

i done welding on the rear outriggers twice now, and front jaking points 3 times so far. should have a few pictures that can be used.

i wish you best of luck. that looks worse than anything i ever done on a Elan. and not to far from my Celica work.
the rear jacking point will probably be the hardest task... unless you have the previlege of using a rotisserie

The pictures make it look worse - the front driver and jacking point is the worst

The others can be done by cutting out some metal and welding in plates

I'm going completely the opposite way to Joao - I think the pictures suggest it isn't too bad at all!

Rear are always more difficult than front, but your rear pic seems to show minimal corrosion, and all accessible from the inside of the car, so ne need to operate through the wheel arch with re-fibre glassing involved.

Hard to tell from the pics, but the actual jacking points look solid, so may be re-usable... or at least, a bit of localised repair work will be enough. Don't look like they're completely scrap and too far gone for use even as a template.

I've fixed far worse (Nicks didn't have enough to use as a template one side, so I had to mirror the other side, which also needed new metal.)

All metal is 1.6mm mild steel, so easy enough to work with (cutting, folding and welding), although I have used 2mm for the jacking points before now, it is a bit overkill.

there's 83 pictures. many of them are very similar where theres a small amount of progress between them.

the drivers jacking point is shot - the others are OK - There is minimal damage in the rears and it is an easy fix in the passenger footwell

I have had a welder come round and he says he can do it .... not got a price yet and I might have to trailer it to his place.

Thanks for these I will show them to the welder. I will need to cut away some of the fiberglass as there is some top metal to be replaced just under the bonnet release
