The flow rate might suggest between a duff pump and a good pump depending on how well it outputs coolant.

I've spoken to the garage that did the job originally, and they bought most of the parts from Classic Team Lotus in August 23. So, I gave them a ring and spoke to their parts dept and they informed me that they haven't had any issues before regarding this pump. I was told that they are sourced from a UK supplier but I don't know where they are made. Hopefully its a one off defect and not a batch defect. I'll have a look at the new pump when it arrives (hopefully today) and then fingers crossed, just got to fit it!
