What you're saying is correct :)
My comment was made with the thought that many owners run their tyres quite a lot higher than normal to counter the tendancy to 'roll' onto the sidewall during hard cornering :?

Well, it is not a crashed Elan and there is no snow on the ground but this is about the best I can do for winter in Texas :D

Sorry, I forgot to put the top up to at least make it look like it might be cold out.

Sorry to here the news Neil. That ditch was designed well, could have been a lot worse.
Just take it easy out there folks, there have been quite a few Elises written of up this end over the last couple of months. I think the fact there is less weight (and more power) than most cars doesnt help.
Any sign of damp on the roads treat it like a baby.

I've found Blipi to be a dream in the snow. I got home far easier and quicker than my colleagues last year and I live furthese away! :-D

She certainly is a hell of a lot better than the TVR :shock:

A fair point, but IMHO silly for road use, I would rather run as low a pressure as possible on the road to get as much grip as possible.

Even on track, its only some tracks that need excessive pressures to counter sidewall flex.

Neil - goddddddddddd you were lucky and it sounds that another good polish will get the bodywork back.

Please guys take it easy these cars do not handle at all well in the wet IMHO. Find a deserted roundabout, go round it in the dry and give it some. Try doing it in the wet, don't give it as much and see what happens - scarrrrrry.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Everyone be careful, especially over the holidays, as it isn't just the hedges out to get you, watch for those who've overdone the Christmas spirits too!
