They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Credit where it's due, you have a very good eye for detail Stef.

That Lotus badge in the first pic is really nice.

Well done for spotting the cat on skates too. Quite tasteful - I like it.

Oh, you got me on the stand. And Tony & Liz.

Those wheels belong to Low Profile.

Talk about a mirror finish on the JPS. I reckon that an aluminuim silver "turbo elan" decal and stripe would look pretty good on blue and red cars, what do you think?

I am SO glad that someone got John in the famous hat!
That one will be dug up in future conversations...

That green Elan with the unusual rear grille was outside at Stoneleigh. The owners were asking if any of us had ever seen one like it, to which the answer was "no".

Very well spotted with the combined Union Jack and Lotus badge on the Sh4rk's rear. And that rear panel is the best I've yet seen on an Elan.

Did your flash go off, or are your mirrors as dirty as your engine bay?

Nice tailpipe!
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...! :P

Dirty mirrors I know. Ruined the shot IMO but nevermind.

Hmmm. I did have a fair bit of Scottish Spirit in me! Shame I missed out on Rambo's suggested offerings.

I did love the way the cars shone and reflected fellow LECers and their Elans. A great show it was!

is there a reason for me in CH not being able to see these pictures or is it due to my computer illiteracy?

I'll bring a jack next year and steal them wheels!

Did we get to meet?

I am embarrasingly poor at remembering names/faces etc.

Apologese to those who I may not have spoken to or recognised! :)

Low Profile could make the East Mid meets if he's in Corby and then we could have a wheel change race in the pub car park. ;-)
