Sorry, no short-cuts or easy prices.

The part number is A100E6338S

They have gone obsolete (02/09/2013) and they were outrageously expensive (£290.92) when they were available.

SJs show them available at £264.47

You can try finding a used one, but expect it to be rusted like yours.

I pulled a couple from spare engines and they were all damaged in one way or another.

The pipes were powder coated on the outside but appear to have had no treatment on the inside.

Don't forget to order a new O-Ring A100E6339S - £2.82

It does not come up under elan , only comes when directly quoted with the stock code.. So they might not even have it in stock.. This is really expensive for what it is..

Do you think if a N/A version can be bent/altered to be used?

I definitely agree with this.. The Previous Owner managed to even damage the cylinder head with corrosion.. Thankfully it could be repaired..

I cannot find a local guy to replicate due to the special flaring/ending where the o-rings go..

The part number has gone obsolete at Lotus. There are none in the US, but other dealers / resellers might have one. SJs show it as current and with a price. That usually means they have some.

Maybe you can get someone to make the major portion and weld the o-ring end to the new portion?

As a favor, I CALLED SJs to verify they have stock and they DO NOT!

They say that if the O-Ring end is reusable, you can buy the NON-Turbo pipe and make one out if the two parts.

They have a picture of the pipe using A100E6337S, so you can use it to see if that will help.

The one i have the o-ring end is uselese.. so we skip that option as well? Do I understand correctly? I can only use the remaining part of the N/A , if I can reuse my o-ring end?

i thought borh pipes would have some ending, so thought of cutting the o-ring end to weld to mine.. but looks like turbo one is more curved..?

It looks beautiful, but I’ve never checked the condition of mine. I suspect nobody else has unless it has leaked. How did you discover the problem?

Actually the car was losing small amount of coolant when parked. And also there were a lot of bubbling in the coolant reservoir on throttle. Suspected leak at head gasket and this was discovered on a visual check when the head/turbo was off..during the head gasket change..
(Still had some leak of exhaust gasses into coolant, so the head gasket change was necessary, but this was also a major issue...)

Also the water was getting dirty brown..(rust)

i also received your pm, but i think its better to write here so others see it too.
My friend was telling that he needs to make a couple of them to produce as its the same effort to make 1 or 5. 100 gbp was quoted for 5-10 pcs...
i had asked here but it was not possible to get more people interested, so he only made one for me, wih some increased costa and a few beers at the pub.

i am happy with it , it was a snug fit, only the other side where the hoses attach wasnt 100% as the original angle but this caused no issue as hoses can be bent easily..

We can maybe produce another run if more people would be interested.

I seem to have coolant weeping from where this pipe enters the housing. I have not disassembled anything yet as I need to replace a couple of Samco hoses at the same time and the leak is not massive at this point. Assuming the pipe has corroded and that’s what’s causing the leak, does anyone have a source for a new pipe? Any suggestions welcome.

i am still using mine..no leak.. happy..

My friend is not working at that company any more, though we still can be able to make a production run if people get interested..Just not sure if i have shrown the samples away .

The end part where the o-ring sits it the main difficulty for producing this pipe.. not many shops could be able to produce this if i remember..
