You'll be pleased to know that you haven't bought a Pattern part at all - the Rockauto ones are Isuzu OE, therefore also Lotus OE, the only difference is in the packaging (and price tag!).
That's one of the reasons we all bought 'em

That`s good to know. It has got `Japan` cast into it, so as you say, it should be the real thing, but at 75% cheaper than the UK price, that is just an added bonus. As i said before, i will definately use RockAuto again, and Sugar Land, Texas does sound like an intresting place.

Guys, I'll get the cambelt stuff done tomorrow by a garage who has never laid their hands on a Lotus or an Isuzu. I am taking the write up in the wiki alongside with the manual. I couldn't see anything about the alternator and a.c. pas belt change in the manual. Do you know a section where there is info on this?
If you want to give any last minute advices I'd be more than happy to hear them.
Cheers,

LG,
There's not much to be said about the power steering and alternator belts change, really. Just undo the obvious nuts & bolts to allow the alternator and power steering pump to swivel and release the tension, then the belts come off.
The only difficult thing is gaining access to the alternator tensioning bolt which I could only turn 1 flat at a time, while maintaining tension on the belt using my third hand.
Sorry if that's not a lot of help.
John

I thought they would be easier than the rest of the work but still wanted to ask.
As I have no experience on this, anything is new information for me so you were helpful thanks John.
