Despite all the work I have carried out recently, New Samcos, new gear cables, etc, etc it seems that I still have a coolant leak, 2 in fact, the first is from a jubilee clip on the bottom hose/radiator connection, when I tighten the jubilee it tightens to a certain point and then 'snaps' loose again, I'm hoping that a new clip will sort this out; the other leak is more ominous and related to the top banjo bolt on the Turbo, (this being a fault I'd thought resolved with new banjos).
The problem I have is that, as with the above jubilee clip, when I tighten the banjo it tightens to a certain point and then 'snaps' loose again, being a new, albeit not OEM, jubilee bolt I fear that I'm back to fearing the turbo body is shot.
I can get a tight fit if I don't use two washers but not if I do, is there any thing I can use as a seal that is thinner than the two copper washers? Does anyone have any idea who and for how much a thread repair to the turbo might cost and does any one have either a spare good turbo or a bad turbo with a good cartridge?
Thanks
