quick opinion poll - (coilpack)

Hi guys,

After reading a lot on here over the past couple of days I've found myself struggling with which coilpacks to purchase. I have narrowed it down to two brands. I was hoping a few of you could point me in the direction of the ones I should pick, as you all have far more Elan knowledge than me.

The two are:

NGK for £31 each

Or
MSD 8224 for £59, there are some in the uk on amazon currently.

The question is, are the MSD ones worth double the money of the NGK ones? Are they that much better :s

Reliability is hard to judge unless you have a large sample & measure the failure rate.
Do you really gain any extra performance from a set of coils? Unlikely unless you really push them to the limit & I doubt the Elan would get anywhere close.

If I needed to replace mine now, I would go for the NGKs.

This is the thought path I knew made more sense.

Its the lure of uprated components! haha

i just bought the NGK's , figured if they make decent spark plugs they aint gonna put their name to s**t components
