Hmmm thread resurection i'm afriad
Well my problem has returned so whatever it is comes and goes although once it loses the power it seems to stay lost till tinkering here and there gets it back, trouble is i dont know what tinkering works
I can now tell by the seat of the pants it's down and also the boost gauge gives me pointers..............
When down i get a hiccup in boost delivery, plant the throttle in any gear at any revs and the gauge rushes to around .5 then it sort of stops for a short time, maybe only a second or part of and then rises from there progresively till approx .9 ish. Now i know the gauge is inaccurate and elanscan proves boost is eventually getting .9 but when it was working correctly the gauge just jumped right round to .9 and i could get wheel spin in 2nd
The boost solonid valve was chaged last year for a new one that didn't help, any ideas ? I have a dyno booked today which i know will give me about 135-140 at the wheels with the everest, i'll ask them too for ideas and heres hoping
Thanks
Steve
