max and andy wrote:I really have to blow to get the air to i thought passing through the turbo. How hard is it usually to blow through. Our shouldn't i be able to? It is holding the pressure but if i blow hard it seeps through. That's the only way i can explain it. Its quite hard to blow and make a seal. I don't know how i'm going to blow and feel for leeks. Yep, I had the same issue when my boost went away. But it still didn't fix the problem? Have you checked out the little vacuum line running from the red boost transducer to the intake?

max and andy wrote:I have just tried Alexbs Elan scan but he is still having problems with it on my car too. He did notice that the sensor that i changed the hose to. The hose went from just under the actuation capsule right around the right side of the engine under the trash can and onto a sensor that has a clear plastic top the size of a bottle top. It has a red and a black wire inside that are visible. I did have the MBC plugged into the end instead of the sensor but its back on the sensor now. Alex said it might be the sensor. Alex didn't have one on his car. Or his looked very different. I'm calling it a sensor but I'm not sure. Alex thought that if i took the hose off the sensor and replaced the MBC and took the car for a short run i could check if the sensor is still working. Sounds like another to scratch off the list. So I'm going to give it a go. I fitted the MBC and tried it,its the same result as before boost gauge up to the first notch but i cant say i could feel it. I don't know if this scratches the sensor or not. The vacuum line running from the boost transducer is OK but it does look a bit flackey. Can i use the same hose as on the actuation capsule? The pipe on it now looks more like washer pipe for the windscreen but rubber. And no clips holding it. Does it just pull off the side of the engine? It looks like its going to fall apart when i do. Its holding at the moment anyway. Andy
max and andy wrote:I have already tried it with just the top one blocked. You want me to try them both blocked at the same time? The bottom hose is the one i replaced and had the MBC on. I would think twice about changing it again. What a bitch to put back on. I cried real tears on that one. Andy
