Looks like tomorrow may be a final drive for a while. I hope I can get it in before the snow from Salt Lake hits. Goodyear Eagle GS-D3s are downright dangerous in snow. Great in the wet. Horrible in the snow.Algirdas

I'm going to order a set of icons online (half the price of the stores) - they come in "A" and "B" versions for both sizes. Apparently one is curved, the other not so much. What did you guys go with for your 24/22 Icon setup?

Hi Randy!
Friendly local autoparts store only had one kind, so that's what I bought. I checked but could not find a part number on the blade and I've discarded the packaging. The 22" blade has about a 4" bow if you lift it off the windshield, draw a line between the ends and measure from the blade center to the line. It conforms nicely all the way to the side of the windshield - I would assume this is the curved version of the blade. I hope this helps

For UK guys at least - Bosch 24/22 wipers are available cheaply from e-bay (I bought the 'Vauxhall Zafaria' ones for £11.50 delivered) the universal clips are tight but perserve and they go on a treat.

Seeing as my cars yearly inspection is due this month and one of the wiper blades had a 1" split in it I decided to replace them. I refitted the same aftermarket "retro fit" blades that had been put on the car when I bought it but am not really happy with them. They just don't look right

Had alot of humidity on the screen when leaving work this morning and realised that they do not curve enough to wipe the screen properly.

I seem to remember them being different sizes (or at least the ones I removed were)!

Have looked at the wiki and it quotes a 22" renault replacement which I have found here for about £7 each:

I have a few questions

1. Is this just the rubbers and not the blade holder?

2. Are both wiper blades the same size? (ie 22")

3. MY car is LHD... are they the same wiper blade holders?

Actually, I believe they are supposed to be 23 inch wipers which seem to be hard to get. Many people have opted for one 22 and one is 24 inch wiper.

I was concerned about that when I put them on, but clearance on the driver's side for a 24 inch blade is no problem. On the passenger's side, I use a 22 inch blade. Algirdas

Ditto here. I have the ICON blades as well in 24/22. They work much better than even factory new wipers as the surface pressure is uniform across the width of the blade.

A 3rd positive review here. I second all of Nitroman's comments and agree with Algirdas' 24/22 fitment suggestion for Bosch Ikon wipers. They look a little clunky but they do the job exceedingly well. Here in the US, the Trico Neoform is similar to Bosch Ikon at a lower price. I have it on our Merc E320 - it is the only blade that has ever worked right in the single-blade, push-pull wiper arm. Trico Innovision blade offers the same technology but look slimmer since they don't have the aerofoil design.
