Ok so I have had my Elan for about a month now, I have a ever increasing list of things that need doing to it and low and behold the one time I leave it in the rain I find 2 of every animal swimming on my seats and foot well.
Upon closer inspection it looks like my door seals need replacing.
Can anyone recommend a place round the North West or beyond that I could take my car in so they can replace the seals, and maybe have a quick shifty round it to see if they can spot any other problems I have missed?

1st port of call is to get a showercape.. its just for the top half of the car ... thats the leaking sorted .
rubbers are available from trim technologies..
sometimes they are on ebay as sets...
second to that they will do a new foof and rubbers at a good price.
if its your a post seals that have gone then there is an ongoing "on back order" for these items .. walker rubbers are looking to remake them (in section "hoods" i think)
remember it is NOT allowed to fix the passenger side rubbers as then " partner/wife/girlfriend" will have to find somthing else to complain about ..... and that usually means household DIY.
throw her a towl to put on her knee .. its much cheaper... and then relish that you are a true lotus elan m100 owner....

Cheers for the info. Looks like it is the A post and the window/door seals.
Got the rain cover on it today - I take it I can take the door/window seal to any garage to get them to replace them?
Towel's are now avaible for all my passengers

Can anyone recomened where I can get a secure shower cape for the Elan? As the cover I have blows off all the time and I would love a cape that has been made for the Lotus.
Cheers

If it's a cape you're after, PM WillB.
