A friend for kermit

Postby stevieshag » Wed 31.01.2007, 20:36

I have just bought another Elan, not sure if she is good enough for a repair job, or if she will help to keep kermit on the road for a few more years. Either way i am pleased with my purchase. Will you keep you informed on the decision. Will try & post some picks.

Even if the chassis aren`t bent it`ll cost a few grand to fix, not worth it IMO. unless u can get second hand parts

I'm in LOVE with the interior scheme. Probably because mine looks similar. On a serious note if it were me... I'd rebuild her. Find a wrecker that has one that took it in the rear (preferably of same colour) and go to town. Better yet doesn't Monty have one that got knackered up? I see a project in your future....

ok update on miss piggy,
i have taken the clam shell off & cant see any creases in the chassis only on the external bolt on parts, which looks like a result, i have purchased another elan No3 which it looks like i will break, i will post more details when i pick it up in 2 weeks time. front end smash again.
I am in the process of locating parts which i need to repair, so if you have anything which might be of interest please PM me.
i know ya all like pics to posted 3 more.

stevie,
