easy TYRE FIX finally available again!

After hating many messy, gooey tyre plug jobs I discovered this tool around 15-years ago. I patched 15 or 20 leaks with it, finally running out of the patented proprietary plugs around the millennium. I have NEVER gone back to using a standard patch system again, instead choosing to pay someone for the repair; that is how much this tool spoils you. You merely remove the foreign object, hammer this tool through the hole (yes, use a regular hammer), and remove. Push the tool all the way in, and remove. Surely any man can do that! Like a fish-hook, the brass head of the plug is wider on the back so it stops against the inside of the tyre as you pull it out. I've not left out a step. No icky mess is required and insertion is like hammering a nail into a hole which is already there.

The original plant burned down in 95/96 and the owner had no insurance to rebuild. However the cagey old man had his lawyer extend his patent due to an act of God stopping his ability to profit from his invention. Now finally, he has sold it & someone else has taken up the torch! I ordered the 20-pack of hermetically-sealed plugs, which originally came in a plastic-pouch which fit inside the cavernous handle. Compare my original one to the web and you'll notice slight changes, which they might as well have made as the old mold went up in flames.

I always feel like a weak SOB when I use the pld style plugs I have now! It's hard as all hell to ream out the tire with the steel plys in there -- this will be a welcome tool!

Got mine yesterday. I tested their compact air compressor and it worked.

The tool itself feels very light to carry around but durable. I like the old logo design better than the new one which uses "cartoonish" fonts.

But then I'm not gonna go searching around on Ebay looking for a "vintage" one.

Went out and used it for the small screw shaft that was in the wife's tire with a slow leak -- happy to report it took all of literally 8 seconds to pull the item and push in the plug--will do it in half that time next time!
