Well i don't agree !, & i don't agree because ive got the facts & figures !, & sorry Phil, but you wouldn't buy a clam & bumper for £500, let alone the rest of bits & spray it .

You don`t agree cause you don`t do the bloody work u`r self and get old gerald to do it

Think u`ll find Dico sold his clam and bumper for around that price (might of even been cheper) undamaged  and with Dico`s other bit`s that car was nearly road worthy, just needed the clam & Bumper.

I'm looking at the bigger picture, if you don't want the clam shell I'll take it! :-D

I realise this car is not economically viable, if it were fixed up it would not get full value as it is a cat c write off. If I had got to it before you, I would have laughed at the guy selling it for £3k + and walked away. You have been brave enough to buy it and at that price it is worth while as parts.

With that engine, you should get your money back, there's a lot of high milers could do with a swap!

Philip, can you book me in for a respray please? £400ish?

The Elan was a bit worse than how it apeared in the photos. For starters the top edges of the bonnet were badly damaged.
I almost went down to see it the week before Russ and Paul viewed it. Kicking myself now, would have made an ideal track car :rally:

Ah well, its Elvis's car and its Elvis's decision. At least JPS is going to benefit, and the Beast! :P

Sorry to sound like a vulture (it's a shame to see such a nice car bite the dust) but is this the place that you'll be posting items for sale? :(
Have you even decided what you'll be selling yet?
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...! :P

Ohhhh, your such a bitch, just cause you can't have the locks, & did you really expect us to take you seriously when you offer £20 a seat !. Bought bits for you before Gary, when you said you wanted them, & you let me down, & i don't get caught twice !

Now now play nice...

Paul,

Perhaps it would be worth listing the popular bits that have already been spoken for?

I might be interested in the gearbox, if the price is right and it's still available.

Thanks

**VULTURE ALERT**

Wouldn't happen to have an exhaust manifold availlable would you ? (Preferably without any cracks in it)

Might be interested in the calipers, depending on price asked.

If anyone knows where I can get new "knock off" covers for the slider assembly, or has some that aren't bent to buggery, please PM me!

Cheers,
Ian

Dear Ian:

I could be mistaken, but aren't those caps on the front brakes standard GM stuff available pretty much anywhere?

Sincerely,
